Cross-District PLC took place today. Stephanie Ermel, Preschool Teacher, Cañon School did a session titled "The ERMELS Method: Live like an Okinawan". Attendees discovered the timeless secrets of the Blue Zone of Okinawa, Japan, where modern gym equipment and technology take a backseat to traditional practices and natural living. Participants learned concepts such as ikigai, forest bathing, and how to weave simple habits into daily routines. Ended the session with a trip down the old elementary school slide.
